Trent & Peak Archaeology was proud to be selected as the supplier of archaeological services to Phase 2 of Nottingham's new tram network - NET2.

Site: Route of NET2, Greater Nottingham area
Project: Nottingham Tram Network Phase 2 - NET2
Client: Vinci Construction UK
Completion: 2015

Proactive and ambitious for the partnership, TPA was able to identify and act upon opportunities to bring positive benefits to NET's local profile by stimulating and managing press and online coverage.

In complex and high-profile projects TPA is the obvious local choice for your archaeological needs, managing archaeological risk and offering a professional specialist service on time and to budget.

Archaeological services delivered both during and after construction were a vital part of this £600 million infrastructure project involving the creation of 17.5km of track. Successful completion highlights TPA's ability to deliver large-scale linear schemes as part of complex partnerships, to time and in budget.

A TPA community archaeology project also expanded on the finds uncovered in one area, Lenton, during these works. This was funded by partners including Nottingham City Council and the National Lottery. An additional series of talks, articles and events capitalised on this exposure, bringing increased local buy-in to the NET business profile.
