Organising this community celebration and living history day on behalf of The Lenton Centre, we formed a community committee and involved almost 30 local groups, charities and services in this volunteer-supported event.
A&E Heritage Rescue
With Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust we recruited and supported a specially recruited group of volunteers to record the hundreds of artefacts found at Attenborough during quarrying and now dispersed around the world
Lenton Priory Project
Fifty volunteers, a local school and visiting groups were involved in excavating this Scheduled Monument. This was a partnership with the Dunkirk & Lenton Partnership Forum, Lenton Local History Society and Priory Church.
Life Goes On
A member of our Community team was appointed as the facilitator in this inclusive, Heritage Lottery Fund supported, heritage project exploring leisure and entertainment in Nottingham during the First World War.
Dig for History!
We supported STAA (the not-for-profit company representing allotment holders), to develop and run an exciting project that involved tenants and volunteers in test-pitting, excavation, GIS mapping and historical research.
Burgage Manor Revealed
We were excited to be appointed to work with Southwell Community Archaeology Group to provide archaeological management and professional services over this large
-year project.
Darley Abbey Ice House Dig
Trent & Peak was delighted to be invited to work with the Darley Abbey Historical Group to develop, obtain funding for, and deliver a small community excavation at the believed site of this lost ice house.
